Policy Administration System Modernisation for Commercial Lines
Challenge
Migrating in-force policies with complex endorsement histories without disrupting renewals. We ran parallel rating, reconciled premiums for every migrated policy and scheduled cut-overs between renewal peaks.
Approach
We introduced a product configuration layer (coverages, rating factors, forms, rules) on a cloud-native policy services core with APIs for quote, bind, endorse, renew and cancel. A strangler-fig approach moved one product line at a time, with event synchronisation back to the legacy system until cut-over. A broker portal provides quoting and document generation, and a data migration factory converted in-force policies with reconciliation reports for each batch.
